Students have their own unique experience, since they can choose to go to different institutions every semester. During the two years of Master studies you can go to up to 8 different countries!

Every year we receive a large and highly international community of students. They are commited to making the world better and managing the marine resources the best they can in their future professions.

IMBRSea courses and thematics were designed taking into account the labor market for marine biologists in Europe. You will also do a Professional Practice during your studies!

You will not only meet many students, but you will also be able to study in 10 different universities, and do a professional practice and thesis at one of our partners from around the world.

What you will learn in IMBRSea

The courses are organized in different universities, thematic and specialization modules.

The International Master of Science in Marine Biological Resources (IMBRSea), is a joint Master program organized by eleven European universities in the field of marine sciences, supported by the European Marine Biological Resource Centre (EMBRC). The IMBRSea program is an Erasmus Mundus programme taking the strengths from the previous International Master of Science in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation (EMBC+), and prepares students for the rapidly evolving demands of the blue bio-economy and research on the sustainable use of marine biological resources.
